Two of Spain's culinary treasures come together in a perfect marriage! Fire-roasted piquillo peppers are sweet and smoky, shaped perfectly for stuffing. Ortiz then prepares a filling of premium Bonito del Norte tuna in a creamy béchamel sauce. The stuffed peppers are then covered in a light tomato sauce. Heat and serve to enjoy a gourmet tapa in minutes!
Bonito del Norte tuna is line caught in the Basque country one by one. This small tuna has a delicate, rich flavor that makes it among the most prized fish in Spain. The harvest is dolphin-friendly and these small tuna have very few toxins that you might find in larger tuna.
