Chef José Andrés selected San Nicasio as his partner to provide potato chips for his personal collection. Slowly fried in 100% extra virgin olive oil to prevent burning and to ensure uniform texture and crunch, San Nicasio potato chips won two consecutive gold medals at the Brussels World Selection of Quality (Mondes Selection Bruxelles). San Nicasio uses first cold pressed extra virgin olive oil from a cooperative in Priego de Córdoba to fry their chips. The thinly sliced Spanish potatoes are of the highest quality to guarantee San Nicasio's delicious taste and crunchy texture. Made with no chemical processing, these are also the only chips on the market that use Himalayan pink salt. Naturally rich in mineral and trace elements, the Himalayan salt adds delicate flavor and a unique touch to these chips.
