These delicious crunchy chips from La Rioja are sprinkled with d’Espelette paprika from the famous Basque Espelette red peppers. The mild, smoldering heat is the perfect flavor for these rich, crispy chips.
Pafritas chips are harvested in the wine region of La Rioja and selected for their flavor and high starch content. Potatoes are sliced paper thin and fried in olive oil until golden, with bubbles and pockets that make them extra crispy. They are then sprinkled with sea salt and Piment d’Espelette paprika for a mild, enticing heat.
Serve with a delicious bottle of Rioja wine, along with olives, Ibérico ham and Marcona almonds.
