Most Arbequina table olives are grown in Aragón and Cataluña, near the border of France in the locality of Garrigues. These olives have a sweet and firm texture, with a color ranging from pale green to medium brown -- which is a good way to describe their wonderfully elusive taste -- somewhere between that of a green and a brown olive.
Naturally cured with just salt, water and a touch of thyme, these tiny brown pasteurized olives have a sweet robust flavor. Arbequina olives go well with fresh fruits and garden salads or on their own as a snack.

"Olives were delicious, just as we expected. The flat rate is great, we purchased 12 jars and paid the same price as if we purchased one. Glad we did. Had a small problem and customer service took care of it immediately."
"The first few times we ordered these Arbiquina olives we absolutely loved them. I ordered some last year and they had such a strong smokey unnatural flavor that was absolutely over powering. I thought I had mistakenly ordered the wrong ones but I'm sure it's the same brand. I want to order them again but I'm afraid they'll be awful and I've already got like 4 jars in my pantry I'll probably just throw out. I noticed another person's review also said they were smoky... Maybe I should write to them directly? "
"Olives were very smoky, and not described as so. Price was ok, and I'll find someone to enjoy them."
"WAY TOOOOOOO SALTY"
"Very good. Will order again."
"Not the flavor I was looking for. Very peppery, not much meat."
"Just delicious! "
"Packaging was great. Shipping was fast. Olives are delicious. What more can I say!?"
"I purchased several types of Spanish olives at La Tienda as a present for a friend. He loved all of them, but specially the Arbequina olives. He thank me for that. My husband also likes them."

"Small but very tasty."
"I really enjoyed these little olives. they are crunchy and flavorful, not at all overly salted, and are well complemented by the simple hint of thyme. no, they are not very meaty (they are tiny olives with pits), but they are just perfect for snacking. try some--you will love them!"
"Tiny, chewey and freestone--I'll order these again."
