Bonito del Norte is considered by Spaniards the finest of tunas. This thin, white fish has a mild flavor and is lower in fat than other varieties of tuna. Each is line-caught individually and packed in olive oil to keep it moist and flavorful.
Colman Andrews, former Editor-in Chief of Saveur Magazine, writes that Bonito tuna is "one of the great gastronomic pleasures of every day life."
The delicate flavor and texture of Bonito tuna is preserved by the ecological and dolphin-safe line-catching method, as it avoids the stress damage caused by harvesting by net. Enjoy this delicious tuna in salads, sandwiches, or as a stuffing for piquillo peppers.
Warning: once you taste this silky smooth tuna, you may never buy another tin of ordinary tuna!
White Tuna, olive oil and sea salt.

"So much incredible flavor in this jar of tuna. My family is officially spoiled and will not be able to go back to grocery store, mass marketed stuff. This tuna is wonderful flaked over a simple salad of iceberg or romaine lettuce, good Olive oil and vinegar (of course from LaTienda), and a sprinkle of coarse sea salt...so refreshing. Stock your cupboards with this delicious tuna and you'll never be without a quick, healthy meal. I've had it shipped to my children in Illinois and California. They are ready for more. "

"This is REAL tuna - luscious and silky. It bears no resemblance to the nasty stuff foisted off on unwary consumers at local markets. The large pieces are obviously from prime quality fish, not the bits and pieces salvaged by other producers. This is the kind of tuna we'd all love to find in our lunchbox sandwiches!"
