Our delicious Spanish Bloody Mary is made with bone-dry sherry and smoky Pimentón de La Vera paprika. The dry sherry and the smoked paprika add a savory, almost umami taste which raises it far above an average bloody. It’s a perfect drink for a Spanish brunch or tapas party.

2 cups tomato juice



2 oz dry sherry, such as Fino or Manzanilla



2-3 oz vodka, to taste



1 tbsp fresh lemon juice (from about half a fresh lemon)

How To Cook

STEP 1

Combine all ingredients except garnishes in a small pitcher or other suitable container. Stir and refrigerate until chilled, at least 2 hours.

When ready to serve, stir well and pour into 2 glasses. Add another small pinch of hot smoked paprika or piment d’espelette pepper on the top and garnish with lemon wedges and banderillas - spicy pickle skewers or your choice of one of our other cocktail garnishes
