Smoked Ibérico bacon and creamy baby Manchego cheese are the secret to this addictive tapa. Rich, smoky, sweet and savory, this tapa is a favorite at our tapas bar. Serve hot with a cool glass of sangría or beer.
Ingredients
- 1/4lb baby Manchego cheese
- 6slices Texas Iberico™ bacon
- 12Medjool dates
Preparation
STEP 1
Cut the Medjool date down middle, remove pit and stem. Stuff the date with a small piece of baby Manchego cheese.
STEP 2
Cut bacon strips in half. Wrap stuffed date in half strip of bacon and spear with a toothpick. Bake in oven at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes until bacon is cooked to your preference.
