These small, tender squid are served in a delicious sauce made from tomato, onion and squid ink. Serve warm with some crusty bread.
Spain has a long tradition of gourmet canned seafood - some tapas bars serve nothing else! Far from being seen as a cheap alternative to fresh seafood, these carefully preserved squid are seen as a gourmet treat.
The seas off the coast of Galicia in Northwest Spain are cool and rich in nutrients, making them an incredible fishing ground. Conservas de Cambados is located close to one of Spain’s largest Rías (estuaries), known as the 'Ría de Arousa'. Their facilities are very close to where the seafood is harvested, so they are able to use the freshest squid and shellfish available.

Use and Care
Store unopened tin in a cool, dry place. Once opened, transfer seafood to a sealed container, refrigerate and consume within 1 to 2 days.

"this is one of my favorite Conservas de Cambados products. these squid have a great texture and flavor, and I just learned that squid ink is actually believed to have a solid nutritional value, as well as potential as a cancer fighter, so you will not want to discard a drop of this tasty ink. I combined the leftover ink of my first can with my pasta sauce for dinner, but have sipped all other ink since, straight from the can. If I could give this product more stars, I would."
