The best way to enjoy a perfectly cured Serrano ham is to slice it fresh from the whole ham. This beautifully aged Peregrino Serrano ham has a mild saltiness and deep ham flavor that makes it iconic in Spain.

A whole jamón is a striking centerpiece for your next party or family gathering. The sliced Serrano can be served with bread on canapés, or added to salads or sautéed vegetables, though we find that guests often devour them within seconds of being sliced.

This full-flavored Spanish ham is aged for 18 months in the mountains of Spain and known for its consistent quality. During the curing process the jamón undergoes a transformation transition as it sheds up to 40 percent of its weight - fat melting away and complex flavors and mild saltiness developing.

Serrano is the most enjoyed ham in Spain, found at restaurants and family dinner tables across the country. You will be impressed with each succulent bite. We tasted hams from across Spain and chose this jamón to represent our Peregrino brand, and after one mouthful you will understand why. The goal of our Peregrino brand is to offer the quintessential flavors of Spain at their best.

You can store a bone-in jamón for weeks in its holder at room temperature, cutting delicious slices every day to add to sandwiches, scrambled eggs, soups or your favorite recipe.

Each ham is accompanied with personal care and handling instructions as well as carving tips. A ham holder is a necessary accessory in order to carve properly. Store your ham in a cool, dry place. Because whole hams continue to cure until you cut into them, you can hang your jamón in a cool dry place for weeks before its first use — where it will only get better with time.

No cooking required.
