Ingredients:
12 leeks (the white part only)
12 slices of Consortium serrano ham
3 tablespoons of olive oil
Salt and ground black pepper
Tomato sauce
Preparation:
Clean the leek well, removing the outer layers. Wash and drain. Put the leeks in a saucepan with the salt, pepper and oil. Add water to cover and cook about 30 minutes or until tender. Drain well, wrap each leek in a ham slice and place in an oven proof dish. Pour over the tomato sauce and cook in a medium oven for around 15 minutes. Serve very hot.
